Have you considered becoming a teacher? There is a program to help soldiers become teachers. Contact the nearest Veterans Administration Regional Office and they can give you all the details. I believe you could really make a big difference in a good school. Good luck.

still with an ex and now hes back in touch with an ex i hate and hes been keeping it a secret?
I’m an 18 year old girl and I have been living with my ex since we were both 16.

We are great together but broke up due to fighting and some issues of his…however we still live together and are still intimate…we’re practically still dating whether we like to say it or not.

One of the main reasons we broke up was due to his secrecy…he would spend hours of his day online chatting or texting girls he met on sites like tagged. He was honest about it and I had no problem with it but he was so secretive about it and would never let me see any conversations…he would even sign out of his msn each time I came to the comp just so I wouldn’t see…

He always denied doing it intentionally and I do know he flirted with the girls…I’ll admit I even checked his conversations and could see he wasn’t doing anything bad…just hated the secrecy.

Its been less of an issue since we broke up although I’ve still always said I want honesty as I have no intention of keeping any intimacy going if hes going to date someone else.

However I have recently found out that he got back in touch with an old ex from our school.

They didn’t date for to long but I know he was crazy about her…but she didn’t treat him well and ended up dumping him…

This was because he missed her birthday dinner…yet she still broke up with him even when he explained it was due to his abusive parents nearly killing him when he tried to leave the house that night.

I made it very clear from the beginning of our relationship when I found out they had dated that I didnt like the girl… Shes one of those girls with trashy friends who all think they are better than everyone else and they all bullied me severely at school…even going so far as to attack me on occasion…

When we were dating he was shocked to hear this and did agree that he wasn’t happy with the way she treated me but did maintain that he wanted to stay friends with her…he couldn’t seem to understand how much it hurt me…

Now it seems even worse that hes back in touch with her now that were not together as he was definitely trying to keep it a secret…the only reason i found out was that I was on his face book with him when she started chatting and mentioned that she wouldn’t text him anymore tonight since he was going to bed soon.

Again its been secrecy and more deception and he always says its unintentional…along the lines of ‘well you didn’t ask so i never lied’

Whats getting to me is that yes I do still have feelings for him and clearly hes always been in love with her right from the first day…he still says he loves me as it was my decision to break up but no matter what I cant believe that he would still go back to the one person I hate the most and who has always treated him badly…she only wanted him back when she found out he was living with me..

Im so confused and hurt and havent been able to be near him since I found out and now I dont know what to do…I dont know what to say and I dont know what to do…I have no intention of getting back together but I just wish he wouldn’t talk to her and he knows how much I hate it.

Dont even know if I’m asking any questions but if anyone has any advice for me I would appreciate it alot.

It seems to me you are making a mistake a lot of girls make when communicating with their ex. I’ll explain

Obviously you’re not at fault here but you have to realize that guys brains work a lot differently than girls. His actions may not make sense to you but they can be explained and when you understand what’s really happening you’ll be able to deal with this a lot better. So in other words you need to know:
- What exactly goes on inside a man’s mind (not only your ex)
- How you can push his emotional buttons so he comes crawling back to you

Now whether you’ll want to deal with him after or not, and what you want him to commit to, is entirely up to you. The key is to get the control back in your hands.

i don’t see him with anyone. according to the myth, he is wounded by his son mordred at the battle at camlann & is taken away by the three queens to the isle of avalon to be healed & await the day when he would return to help save england in her hour of need. before that happened, i think he just hung around with his knights.
